I borrowed this book from my son's school library. This book is just another gem from Julia Donaldson. It has cute illustrations. The story is about how the two monkeys see the world differently. When day monkey sees the night "world" and night monkey sees the day, they are scared and apprehensive. The message is that the world might seem odd from your point of view but from someone else's it is perfectly normal.
For my boy, this book is very easy to read. It is interesting as well so he kept on reading without losing interest. But one read was enough. He would have liked it more when he was 2 or 3 years old, but at 4.5 - no.
Some parts I found it hard to read to my son as a bed time story since it is written in black on dark blue. Hard to read in a night lamp .
